TECHFEST 2018: FROM HERE TO GLOBAL
Techfest Viet Nam 2018 was hosted at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang from 29th November – 1st December 2018. H.E Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and delivered a welcoming speech. Themed “From here to Global”, this year event attracted over 4500 visitors, a large number of foreign investors, overseas Vietnamese, and 200 start-up business people from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and China.
The event feature concurrent workshops on incentive policies for the development of a creative and innovative start-up ecosystem, a dialogue between Prime Minister and young start-up business people, a thematic seminar on how to develop creative and innovative start-up businesses in the aspects of agricultural and healthcare technologies, tourism and finance, and a final round of a start-up contest.
Participating startups were divided into 8 startup tech-villages: Edtech, Fintech, Agritech, Tourism, Industry 4.0, Impact and Startup supporting community.
