“THE 20TH NATIONAL CONGRESS OF CARDIOLOGY | A KEY DAY AT ARIYANA CONVENTION CENTRE DANANG

From 02–04 October 2026, Ariyana Convention Centre Danang welcomed the cardiology community for the 20th National Congress of Cardiology (VNCC20). Over the three-day congress in Danang, the event brought together a large community of experts and delegates through a comprehensive programme of scientific sessions, professional activities, exhibitions and networking, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and professional connection.

Organised by the Vietnam National Heart Association, VNCC20 is held under the theme “Cardiology in the New Era: Integration – Innovation – Implementation”, bringing together more than 2,500 delegates, nearly 350 experts and speakers, and over 135 scientific sessions.

The Opening Ceremony took place in the morning, marking one of the key moments of the congress. During the ceremony, the Vietnam National Heart Association also officially launched 50/30 – a community cardiovascular health programme, aiming for 50% of people with hypertension to be successfully managed and controlled by 2030.

Following the Opening Ceremony, the scientific programme continued throughout the day with plenary sessions, specialised sessions, forums, training and practical activities. Topics span hypertension management, heart failure, coronary artery disease, multidisciplinary cardiology and emerging areas such as AI in clinical practice.

Meanwhile, the exhibition area and networking activities remained active, providing opportunities for delegates to connect with businesses, brands and organisations across the healthcare ecosystem.

From the first activities on 02 October to today’s Opening Ceremony and scientific programme, VNCC20 continues to bring together knowledge, innovation, practice and community in Danang.
