On June 29, 2025, the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang had the honor of hosting the important signing ceremony between UNESCO and SOVICO Group, marking a significant step forward in the collaboration on cultural industries and happiness schools. The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including UNESCO’s Director-General, Audrey Azoulay, Jonathan Baker, Head of UNESCO Office in Vietnam, and senior leaders from SOVICO Group, including Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo, Chairwoman and CEO of SOVICO Group.

At the signing ceremony, two key projects on education and culture implemented by UNESCO and SOVICO promise to change Vietnam.

This partnership signing ceremony was not only a landmark in the relationship between UNESCO and SOVICO but also a special occasion that highlighted both parties’ commitment to advancing cultural and educational initiatives. The event took place during the official visit of UNESCO’s Director-General to Vietnam from June 26-29, during which Mrs. Audrey Azoulay also participated in key activities in Da Nang and Hoi An, including visits to significant landmarks such as the Hoi An Ancient Town and Thanh Ha Pottery Village.

During the event, Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo delivered a speech on SOVICO’s vision and expectations when collaborating with UNESCO, emphasizing the importance of this partnership in enhancing the quality of education and preserving cultural heritage. Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, with its luxurious space and modern facilities, provided an ideal environment for the ceremony, showcasing its commitment to hosting world-class events.
