Beyond just the number of participating businesses or organized meetings, the value of a tourism promotion event lies in its ability to create substantive cooperation opportunities. At the Da Nang International Tourism Fair 2026 (DITF 2026), applying data to business connection activities opens up a new approach, helping to identify market needs, improve trade efficiency, and create a foundation for long-term tourism development strategies.

From event scale to the quality of meetings
In tourism promotion events, the number of participating businesses, exhibition booths, or attendees is often used to evaluate the scale and level of market interest. However, for programs focused on business connection, these numbers only reflect a part of the effectiveness.
What is more concerning is whether the meetings actually connect the right needs, whether businesses find suitable partners, and whether initial exchanges have the potential to develop into specific business opportunities.
This is also a notable perspective at the Da Nang International Tourism Fair 2026 (Danang International Tourism Festival – DITF 2026), taking place from October 16 to 19, 2026, at the Cung Hội nghị Quốc tế Ariyana Đà Nẵng.
Organized by the Da Nang Tourism Association in collaboration with HORECFEX Việt Nam, DITF 2026 is an international tourism trade event, facilitating Vietnamese tourism service providers to directly meet travel companies, distribution partners, and program organizers from various domestic and international markets.

With an expected scale of over 300 tourism product and service providers, more than 150 international service purchasing partners, and over 400 domestic partners, the event creates a diverse trading network, connecting many fields from accommodation, travel, and aviation to conference tourism, events, and destination experiences.
The highlight of DITF 2026 is the business-to-business trade connection model, commonly known as B2B, where parties can research profiles, understand needs, and arrange meeting schedules before the program takes place.
This organizational method not only helps businesses be more proactive in searching for partners but
