On the morning of October 18, 2026, the Opening Ceremony of the Business & B2B Networking Space within the framework of the Da Nang International Tourism Fair 2026 (DITF 2026) officially took place at the Ariyana Convention Centre Đà Nẵng, with the attendance of city leaders, representatives of tourism organizations and associations, along with a large number of domestic and international businesses and partners. This is the central activity of the event series lasting from October 16 to 19, marking the transition from promotion and destination introduction programs to face-to-face meetings and trading sessions between businesses.
With the message “Connecting Partners, Creating Future”, DITF 2026 organized by the Da Nang Tourism Association, gathers more than 300 tourism service supply units (sellers), 150 international purchasing partners (international buyers), 400 domestic purchasing partners (domestic buyers), and over 1,500 delegates and attendees. Notably, the event recorded more than 7,000 B2B (Business-to-Business – direct connection between businesses) trading connections, reflecting the scale and cooperation needs of the tourism business community in a market context increasingly focused on product quality and business efficiency.

Not only creating conditions for businesses to introduce their supply capacity, understand the needs of each market, and expand distribution networks, the trading space also promotes the ability to form linked tourism products, from resort, culture, and heritage to meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) tourism. Through directionally prepared meetings, businesses have the opportunity to discuss more deeply about cooperation policies, product development capabilities, and plans to exploit guest sources in the coming time.
The highlight of the opening ceremony lies not only in the scale of attendance but also in the message of developing tourism in depth, emphasized by city leaders and representatives of tourism associations: strengthening market linkages, improving competitiveness, and moving initial connections towards practical cooperation agreements and programs. This is also the consistent orientation in the effort to develop DITF into an annual international tourism promotion and trading platform, contributing to expanding cooperation opportunities for Da Nang businesses and the Vietnam tourism industry.
FROM LOCAL NETWORKING TO EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR VIETNAM TOURISM

He affirmed: “The city aims to develop high-quality tourism that is internationally competitive and creates added value; shifting the focus from increasing visitor numbers to improving experience quality, extending length of stay, increasing spending levels, and attracting returning visitors.”

Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee, emphasized the orientation of developing tourism in depth, focusing on experience quality and added value.
At the same time, city leaders affirmed their commitment to continue accompanying the business community, strengthening aviation connectivity, expanding international markets, promoting digital transformation, and regional linkages, thereby creating a foundation for the sustainable development of Da Nang tourism.
Speaking at the Da Nang International Tourism Fair 2026 (DITF 2026), Mrs. Cao Thi Ngoc Lan, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, highly appreciated the efforts of the Da Nang Tourism Association in developing DITF into a professional promotion and trading platform, contributing to connecting Vietnamese businesses with the international market. She particularly emphasized the requirement to change the mindset of tourism development, from exploiting available resource advantages to improving experience quality, strengthening chain linkages, and creating substantive business efficiency.
She emphasized: “In the context of fierce competition, available resources are only a necessary condition; the sufficient condition to improve competitiveness is the ability to connect the market, organize package product chains, and build differentiated experiences.”

Referring to the key tasks after the event, she affirmed: “Connections at DITF 2026 need to surpass the level of initial exchange to progress towards cooperation agreements, commercial contracts, and specific commitments to bring guests.”
According to her, to realize this goal, the business community needs to shift from providing individual services to cooperating in chains, developing high-quality tourism products with identity, while strongly promoting the linkage between Da Nang, localities in the Central region, and the whole country in the spirit of “Co-developing the market, co-sharing guest sources, and co-creating value.” Thus, DITF 2026 is not only a place to establish new relationships but also becomes a driving force to transform destination potential into long-term cooperation opportunities and economic value.
Sharing about the orientation of the event, Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, emphasized the role of DITF in building a regular connection platform between Vietnamese tourism businesses and international partners.
“We expect DITF to not only be a place for businesses to meet, introduce products, or promote destinations, but more importantly, to create connections capable of transforming into cooperation opportunities and substantive business value.

Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, emphasized the role of DITF in building a regular connection platform between Vietnamese tourism businesses and international partners.
In the context of a constantly changing tourism market, businesses need to be more proactive in understanding the needs of each market, improving product quality, and developing competitive experiences. To achieve this, there must be a close connection between destinations, service providers, distribution units, and international partners.
Through DITF 2026, the Da Nang Tourism Association desires to join the business community in expanding cooperation networks, strengthening market linkages, and making practical contributions to the development of Da Nang tourism as well as Vietnam tourism.”
From the accompanying orientation of the authorities, the linkage vision at the industry level to the organizing goals of the Da Nang Tourism Association, DITF 2026 shows efforts to take tourism promotion beyond the framework of destination advertising, progressing towards building a connected and inheritable trading network, contributing to expanding markets and creating long-term cooperation value for Vietnamese tourism businesses.
OVER 300 BUSINESSES, 550 BUYERS: EXPANDING THE TRADING NETWORK
With over 300 supply units and a total of 550 domestic and international buyers, DITF 2026 creates a concentrated meeting space between many links in the tourism ecosystem. The supply sources participating in the event range from accommodation, resorts, travel, aviation, MICE, golf, attractions to culinary, wellness, and support services.

This diversity creates conditions for businesses to seek cooperation opportunities beyond a single service. A resort program may require coordination between hotels, transportation, and experience providers; a MICE group needs to connect the venue, accommodation, culinary, and auxiliary activities. When service groups are present together, businesses have more opportunities to build synchronized product packages suitable for the needs of each customer segment.
The network of international buyers at DITF 2026 is connected through tourism associations in many markets, including South Korea, Japan, China, Russia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Singapore. Meeting directly helps Vietnamese businesses better understand customer needs, service standards, distribution capabilities, and product exploitation conditions in each market.
For buyers, the event is an opportunity to access many suppliers in the same space, convenient for understanding, comparing, and evaluating cooperation capabilities. For sellers, this is an occasion to introduce products
