“CONNECTING PARTNERS, CREATING FUTURE” – A NETWORKING PLATFORM BUILT FOR LONG-TERM GROWTH

More than 300 sellers, 150 international buyers, 400 domestic buyers, and over 1,500 delegates and attendees are expected to gather at DITF 2026. But behind these numbers, the goal of the Da Nang International Tourism Fair does not lie in creating a crowded event, but in the ability to connect components that can co-create new products, markets, and tourist flows.

That is also the spirit of the theme “Connecting Partners, Creating Future”.

DITF is developed on the foundation of the Da Nang Tourism Fair. Through the organization process, the Executive Committee of the Da Nang Tourism Association realized that the city needs a B2B event large enough for tour operators, buyers, and international partners to come directly to Da Nang, survey accommodation facilities, infrastructure, transportation, destinations, and meet businesses capable of developing the market with them.

In 2025, the name Danang International Tourism Festival – DITF was chosen, reflecting more clearly the orientation of building an annual international trade meeting point. By DITF 2026, this orientation is concretized into a continuous four-day connection chain, from welcoming buyers, product surveys, Business Matching to post-event follow-up.

150 international buyers bring the needs of source markets directly to Da Nang

DITF 2026 is expected to welcome more than 150 international buyers, alongside over 400 domestic buyers. This is the force playing a crucial role in connecting more than 300 supply units with markets capable of generating tourist flows.

For businesses, the value of the number 150 does not merely lie in the quantity of international partners present in Da Nang. Each buyer represents a network of customers, distribution channels, or markets that Vietnamese businesses can access through a face-to-face meeting.

Conversely, buyers can find partners for accommodation, resorts, aviation, travel, destinations, MICE, and many auxiliary services in the same event. This opens up the possibility of connecting multiple links to jointly build a complete tourism program instead of just purchasing an individual service.

“Connecting Partners” here is therefore the connection between supply in Vietnam and market demand. Future value is created when those connections can develop into new products, new sales channels, and new tourist flows.

Over 700 buyers – sellers: scale is only valuable when the right partners find each other

With over 300 sellers and more than 550 domestic and international buyers, the number of potential connections at DITF is immense. But this very scale also poses a requirement: businesses cannot wait until the event day to start finding the right people.

Therefore, DITF organizes Business Matching on October 18, while applying a B2B pre-matching mechanism so that buyers and sellers can learn about, select, and arrange partners before the direct meeting day.

The morning session focuses on domestic buyers; the afternoon session is dedicated to international buyers. This structure helps businesses proactively reach both market groups and spend time working with partners more suitable for their business orientation.

A pre-prepared meeting is also more likely to generate a next step than a random networking encounter. Following a meeting could be a quote request, a survey proposal, a deeper discussion, or a new cooperation program.

Thus, the value of over 700 buyers – sellers does not lie in the addition of attendees. The value lies in the number of suitable relationships that can be formed within that network.

Two days of experience and trading help buyers simultaneously meet partners and verify products

On October 17, the program focuses on product introductions, thematic seminars, and service and destination survey activities for international buyers. On October 18, the focus shifts to Business Matching.

Placing product surveys alongside B2B activities creates a connection structure particularly suited to the tourism industry.

Buyers can meet businesses at the trading table, but simultaneously have the opportunity to directly experience the accommodation facilities, destinations, and services that businesses are introducing. A tour operator, therefore, doesn’t just hear that Da Nang has the capacity to serve MICE, resorts, or specialized guest segments; they can directly evaluate the product before deciding whether it suits their market.

These two active days create two complementary layers of information: meetings help buyers understand partners; famtrips help buyers understand products.

When both conditions are met, the likelihood of a connection developing into an actual sales program becomes clearer.

Four event days designed as a continuous connection chain

DITF 2026 takes place over four days, from October 16 to 19, but each day serves a different role in the connection journey.

On October 16, international buyers arrive in Da Nang and begin forming networks through reception activities and a Welcome Dinner. October 17 is dedicated to product approach, thematic discussions, and field surveys. October 18 focuses on Business Matching between buyers and sellers. October 19 continues with survey programs before the delegations conclude their journey.

Viewed through this structure, DITF does not organize disjointed activities. Each step creates an additional layer of understanding between the parties: getting acquainted – exploring – meeting – experiencing – continuing to discuss.

This is exactly how a business relationship is usually formed in reality. Not every buyer will sign a contract right at DITF, but after four days, they can leave Da Nang with a list of partners they met, products they surveyed, and opportunities to continue working on.

That is the foundation for “Creating Future” to continue after October 19.

Over 300 sellers create an ecosystem to develop new products

Another value of DITF lies in the supply structure. The more than 300 sellers expected to participate are not just hotels or travel businesses, but also include resort chains, destinations, airlines, and many service units in the tourism ecosystem.

For buyers, this opens up the possibility of building a complete program right within the same partner network. A new tourism product may require a hotel, transportation, experiences, attractions, and an operating unit; a MICE program also needs an airline, event space, and many other supplementary suppliers.

When multiple links are present together, connections at DITF have the potential to create collaborations beyond just the buying – selling relationship between two businesses.

The MOUs expected to be formed in that environment should also be seen following the same logic: a signing ceremony merely establishes a cooperation direction; long-term value lies in the programs, products, and market activities deployed afterward.

The value of 1,500 attendees is measured by what continues after October 19

With over 1,500 delegates and attendees, DITF 2026 creates a large-scale networking network among businesses, experts, partners, and markets.

But according to the orientation of the Da Nang Tourism Association, scale is not the ultimate measure.

Mr. Cao Trí Dũng, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, emphasized:

“We expect DITF to not only be a place for businesses to meet, introduce products, or promote destinations, but more importantly, to create connections capable of transforming into cooperation opportunities and substantive business value.”

Therefore, the metrics of interest after DITF will lie in the next step: how many buyers continue to request information and quotes; how many partners proceed to deeper surveys; how many MOUs are deployed; how many new products are formed; and how many connections ultimately generate a tourist flow.
