In the context of an increasingly competitive tourism market, promotional activities do not stop at merely introducing destinations or advertising products. What is more important is creating opportunities for businesses to reach the right markets, meet the right partners, and gradually turn those connections into specific collaborations.
That is also the direction that the Da Nang International Tourism Fair 2026 – DITF 2026 is pursuing.

Da Nang International Tourism Fair – DITF 2026 with the message “Connecting Partners, Creating Future”
With an estimated scale of over 200 sellers, 150 international buyers, and 400 domestic buyers, DITF 2026 aims to build a trading space where Vietnamese tourism businesses can directly access source markets, while helping buyers find products that match the actual needs of each market.
Instead of stopping at “introducing what we have”, DITF 2026 focuses on a more specific question: which products can be brought to the market, and who is the right partner to co-develop that product?
From destination promotion to connecting with the right market needs
A destination may possess many advantages in resources, products, and infrastructure. However, for those advantages to turn into an actual tourist flow, products need to be connected to the right distribution system, the right buyers, and the right markets.
DITF 2026 is organized towards shortening this distance.
Through B2B (business-to-business) sessions, sellers have the opportunity to directly introduce their products to buyers operating in suitable markets. Conversely, buyers can access a diverse product ecosystem, from accommodation, travel, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), aviation, destinations to supplementary services.
The value of promotional activities then lies not only in the level of awareness but in the ability to generate leads (business contacts), appointments, and discussions that have the potential to develop into cooperation.
From leads to meetings, from meetings to collaboration opportunities
A list of buyers is only truly valuable when businesses have the opportunity to approach and work with them directly.
That is why DITF 2026 continues to place trade activities at the center. Buyers and sellers are facilitated to review profiles, choose suitable partners, and finalize schedules before entering the official working days.
The promotion process therefore does not end with the business appearing in the directory or at the exhibition area. It is connected in a clearer chain: approach – interest – scheduling – meeting – continuing to work post-event.
This is also the approach that DITF has gradually built from previous editions. During the 2025 season, the event recorded thousands of trade appointments between buyers and sellers, showing that the demand for direct connection between Vietnamese businesses and source markets is huge.
DITF 2026 continues to expand on that foundation, aiming not only to increase the number of meetings but also to enhance the likelihood of meetings proceeding to product surveys, quotes, sales programs, or specific collaborations.

Business networking opportunities at the B2B space
Bringing Da Nang products closer to the international market
For Da Nang, DITF is simultaneously an opportunity to directly introduce the city’s product ecosystem to international buyers.
Da Nang is currently known not only for its beach resorts but also for its strengths in MICE, golf, wedding tourism, wellness, cuisine, entertainment, and regional linkage products. Bringing buyers directly to the destination helps these products not just be introduced through images, but also evaluated from the perspective of marketability.
Buyers can meet businesses, learn about products, discuss cooperation terms, and conduct field surveys. From there, the promotion story no longer stops at “what Da Nang has”, but moves to a more practical question: which products are suitable for each market and can be included in the sales program in the near future?
This is a crucial linking step between destination promotion and creating a tourist flow.
The Association shifts its role from promotion to creating a trading platform
According to Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, DITF’s orientation does not stop at exclusively promoting Da Nang, but aims to build a regular connecting platform for the Vietnam tourism industry, where localities, businesses, and international partners can meet, introduce products, and expand commercial cooperation.
This approach also shows that the role of the Association is expanding.
Not only supporting businesses to appear before the market, the Association’s goal is to create a connection infrastructure so that supply meets the right demand, allowing businesses the opportunity to reach appropriate buyers and enabling those meetings to continue developing after the event concludes.
At that point, promotion is no longer an activity separate from business. It becomes a part of the market development process itself.

Expected scale of the Da Nang International Tourism Fair – DITF 2026
The value of DITF lies in what happens after the event
The number of participating businesses, international buyers, or scheduled appointments are important indicators, but not the ultimate measure.
The true value of a trade event lies in what happens afterward: how many buyers continue to request quotes, how many businesses enter the product survey phase, how many new programs are built, and how many connections can translate into a tourist flow in the following season.
That is also why DITF 2026 does not merely aim to bring many businesses and buyers to the same location.
The larger goal is to create a connection chain from promotion to trading, from trading to cooperation, and from cooperation to actual sales opportunities.
With this approach, DITF is step-by-step bringing tourism promotion activities closer to the real needs of businesses: not just being known, but being connected; not just being connected, but having the opportunity to transform into actual business.
