Strengthening the Vietnam-Korea “Bridge” in MICE Tourism Development at the Korea Tourism Organization Event
In the context of the global tourism industry gradually recovering and experiencing robust growth, the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Korea has become an important driving force in the field of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) tourism. A significant example of this cooperation was the large-scale event recently organized by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) at Ariyana Convention Centre Da Nang.
This event attracted the participation of hundreds of delegates, industry experts, and partners from both countries. On the morning of August 7th, 2024, within the framework of the event, over 200 leading travel companies from Vietnam and Korea had the opportunity to meet, discuss, and explore new cooperation opportunities. The main topics addressed included strategies for developing MICE tourism, promoting destination images, and enhancing bilateral connections between the two nations.
During the gala dinner on the evening of August 7th, 2024, the Korea Tourism Organization skillfully created a strong bridge between businesses from both countries, not only to foster business cooperation but also to enhance Korea’s image as an ideal destination for MICE tourism. Additionally, the event highlighted the immense potential of Da Nang – a dynamic and promising city in Vietnam for developing this type of tourism.
Notably, Ariyana Convention Centre Da Nang reaffirmed its position as a premier venue for conferences and events in Vietnam. With modern infrastructure, professional services, and a favorable geographic location, Ariyana Convention Centre Da Nang continues to attract international events, making significant contributions to the development of MICE tourism in the region.
The Korea Tourism Organization’s event not only strengthened the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Korea but also opened up many new opportunities for the development of MICE tourism, elevating this partnership to new heights.
