Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) 2024 Held at Furama - Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex
From July 2 to July 6, Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex in Da Nang proudly hosted the 2nd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) 2024 with the theme “Asian Bridge”. The event attracted over 800 esteemed guests, including city leaders of Da Nang, various departments, representatives of the organizing committee, and many top Vietnamese artists.
The film festival featured a variety of activities, including film seminars, the opening ceremony, red carpet honors, the closing ceremony, and award presentations. Mr. Andre Pierre Gentzsch, CEO of Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex, stated, “By being chosen as the venue for the second Da Nang Asian Film Festival, Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex has reaffirmed its leading position not only in Da Nang but throughout Vietnam in hosting international events.”
During the five days of the festival, numerous enriching activities took place successfully. Mr. Andre Pierre Gentzsch emphasized that being selected as the venue for the 2nd DANAFF has once again confirmed Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex’s top position in organizing international events.
The film festival concluded with 14 major awards, with “Lat Mat 7 – A Wish” and “MAI” by Tran Thanh – Hari Won standing out. DANAFF II not only honored outstanding cinematic works but also contributed to promoting the culture and image of Da Nang and Vietnam to the world.
