On the morning of August 4, 2024, nearly 1,000 athletes gathered at Da Nang Beach, near the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, to participate in the “Barefoot Beach Run 2024” sports event. Co-organized by the Da Nang Tourism Association, the Da Nang Hotel Association, and the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, this event aimed to showcase the stunning beauty of Da Nang’s coastline to visitors, promote health and fitness, foster community connections, and raise environmental awareness.

The 2024 Barefoot Beach Run is a unique sporting event that emphasizes barefoot running, allowing participants to connect intimately with the natural beauty and marine environment of Da Nang. More than just a competition, it serves as a platform to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of community. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of a sunrise over Da Nang Beach, near the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, the event delivered a truly memorable and inspiring experience for all involved.
The event offers a unique chance for local residents, visitors, and businesses to come together, socialize, and forge meaningful connections. It provides a shared experience that strengthens community bonds, fostering a spirit of unity and togetherness.

The outstanding athletes made impressive achievements at the competition, with the overall first prize going to Nguyen Hoang Phi Vinh (BIB 022) with a time of 17 minutes, followed by Dang Dao Duc (BIB 185) winning second prize, and Pham Nhu Phuoc (BIB 057) receiving third prize. In the female category, Le Thi Phuong (BIB 226) came out on top with first prize, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (BIB 654) won second prize, and Kim Anh (BIB 029) won third prize.
