Singapore Airlines announces resumption of flights to Danang from March 27

The Danang Tourism Promotion Centre has confirmed that Singapore Airlines is the first International Air Carrier to announce resumption of its scheduled commercial international flights between Singapore and Danang from March 27.

Starting from March 27, Singapore Airlines will operate one daily round trip flight between Danang and Singapore on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays in the morning, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays in the afternoon. The airline will increase flight frequency between the two destinations later in a bid to meet growing demand from travelers.

Before international flights into Danang have been suspended due to COVID-19, Singapore was one of Danang’s key visitor markets as this country was Southeast Asia’s top country for purchasing power and daily 4 nonstop flights from Singapore into Danang were operated. The resumption of international flights is a good sign for Danang to drive rapid recovery of its tourism sector from the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, seats on flights between Danang and Singapore are available for open sale, and you can book these flights at Singapore Airlines Ltd’s website.

Besides, major airlines like Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways, Qatar Airways are planning to reopen international flights connecting Viet Nam with such destinations as Incheon, Busan, Jeju (South Korea), Narita (Japan), and Doha (Qatar).
