After a vibrant week filled with cinematic activities, cultural exchanges and international connections, the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival – DANAFF IV officially came to a close, leaving a lasting impression on filmmakers, artists and cinema enthusiasts.
Beyond creating memorable moments both on screen and on stage, DANAFF IV also achieved remarkable visibility across the media and social networks, appearing consecutively in the rankings of the most-discussed events in early July 2026 published by Kompa, Socialite and Socialtrend.
DANAFF IV Makes Its Mark Across Three Media Rankings
According to Socialtrend’s rankings for the period from June 23 to July 6, 2026, the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival ranked sixth among the Top 10 trending film-related topics, generating approximately 39,110 discussions. This result demonstrates that the appeal of DANAFF IV extended far beyond the framework of a film festival, becoming a widely discussed topic among cinema enthusiasts.
In Socialite’s rankings for the period from June 29 to July 5, 2026, DANAFF IV continued to secure a place among the Top 4 outstanding events and brand campaigns of the week, recording 38,427 discussions.
Notably, according to Kompa’s rankings for the same period, DANAFF IV rose to second place among the Top 10 outstanding brand events of the week, with 27,747 discussions. Its simultaneous presence across all three rankings provides clear evidence of the festival’s strong media performance and the significant public interest generated by this year’s event.
The Impact of an International Film Festival in Da Nang
These figures represent more than the volume of discussions on social media. They also reflect recognition of the dedicated efforts made by the Organizing Committee, filmmakers, artists, media partners and the large community of audiences who accompanied DANAFF IV throughout the festival.
