From June 28 to July 4, 2026, the 4th Danang Asian Film Festival – DANAFF IV 2026 will officially take place in the coastal city of Đà Nẵng under the theme “A Bridge from Asia to the World”. As one of the year’s prominent international cultural and artistic events, DANAFF IV 2026 continues to affirm Đà Nẵng’s position on the regional cinema map.
This year, the film festival brings together 102 cinematic works, around 200 screenings, and more than 1,000 delegates, artists, filmmakers, cinema experts, and guests from Vietnam and abroad. Notably, the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony, and Awards Ceremony will be held in a solemn setting at Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, while also being broadcast live on VTV and digital platforms.
Ji Chang Wook and international stars gather in Đà Nẵng
One of the most anticipated highlights of DANAFF IV 2026 is the appearance of Korean actor Ji Chang Wook. With strong appeal across Asia, he is known for many popular works such as Healer, The K2, Suspicious Partner, and The Worst of Evil. 
The presence of Ji Chang Wook promises to bring an exciting atmosphere to this year’s red carpet. In addition, veteran actor Park Sung Woong will also return to DANAFF, continuing to create a strong impression in connecting Korean cinema with Vietnamese audiences.
Beyond international names, DANAFF IV 2026 also gathers many Vietnamese artists, directors, producers, and cinema experts. More than 100 films bring diverse cinematic colors to Đà Nẵng
Alongside the outstanding lineup of artists is a rich screening program featuring 102 works and around 200 screenings. The Asian Film Competition section introduces 13 works from 11 countries and territories, reflecting new creative trends in regional cinema.
Audiences will also have the opportunity to explore the program “Vietnamese Cinema after 40 Years of Đổi Mới” with 17 representative works. In addition, the “Spotlight on American Cinema” program presents 13 Hollywood classics, contributing to a colorful week of cinema right in Đà Nẵng.
