The event introduced The 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III), 2025, and gathered distinguished participants to share directions for the upcoming festival.

Representing Danang City were Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Danang, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi An, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Danang City. Purpose of the Cooperation Agreement
The agreement aims to:
- Establish the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) as a prestigious cinematic event in Asia and globally.

- Foster the growth of cultural industries and international cooperation in Vietnam’s cinema sector, particularly in Danang.

Introduction of The 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III)
Following the success of DANAFF I (2023) and DANAFF II (2024), DANAFF III, themed “DANAFF – The Asian Bridge,” will be held from June 29 to July 5, 2025, in Danang City. The event is organized under the guidance of the People’s Committee of Danang City, hosted by VFDA in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports, other municipal departments, UniMedia, and various national and international organizations.
The festival will retain its core structure, including:
- Opening and Closing Ceremonies & Awards: Held at Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, broadcast live on VTV and syndicated on Danang Radio and Television, ANTV, local stations, and digital platforms.
