On July 26, 2026, Da Nang Beach will come alive with the vibrant energy of the Barefoot Beach Run 2026. The event will take place at Ariyana Beach Garden.
The programme is expected to welcome 2,000 runners. Participants will conquer a 4 km course along the sandy beach while enjoying the sunrise and the refreshing coastal atmosphere.
The run is one of the highlights of the Enjoy Danang Festival 2026. Through this event, the city aims to promote the image of a dynamic, welcoming and highly liveable Da Nang.
Building on the Success of Nearly 1,500 Runners in 2025
In the summer of 2025, nearly 1,500 runners participated in the event. Together, they completed a 4 km course along the coastline of Da Nang.
First and foremost, the event created an energetic start to the day. Footsteps on the sand and radiant smiles brought many memorable moments to the beach.
In addition, the run connected local residents with visitors. Families, groups of friends and international runners joined the event in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
The success of the previous edition laid a strong foundation for this year’s programme. Therefore, the Barefoot Beach Run 2026 returns on a larger scale, with more professional and meticulous preparations.
Running Barefoot and Welcoming the Sunrise in Da Nang
This year’s event carries the theme “Improving Health – Connecting Communities – Promoting the Image of a Liveable Coastal City.”
The run does not place a strong emphasis on competitive results. Instead, the programme focuses on creating an accessible sporting experience closely connected to nature.
In the early morning, runners will feel the soft sand beneath their feet. They can also listen to the sound of the waves and watch the sunrise over the sea.
More importantly, every step will help promote a positive and active lifestyle. At the same time, the event encourages the community to exercise regularly and improve their well-being.
Furthermore, the event is open to participants of all ages. Both local residents and visitors are welcome to join. It is also an opportunity for everyone to connect and discover the beauty of Da Nang’s coastline.
When Will the Barefoot Beach Run 2026 Take Place?

- Time: 4:30 AM – 8:00 AM, Sunday, July 26, 2026
- Meeting point: Ariyana Beach Garden, 107 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City
- Distance: 4 km on a two-way course
- Expected scale: 2,000 runners
- Participation fee: VND 100,000 per person
- Runner benefits: Race BIB, finisher medal, breakfast and energy-replenishing beverages
The course begins at the beach in front of Ariyana Convention Centre Danang. Runners will follow the coastline to the area opposite Mường Thanh Luxury Đà Nẵng before returning to the starting point.
BIB Collection Schedule for the Barefoot Beach Run 2026
Registered runners must bring a valid identification document. Participants should also prepare their registration confirmation code.
Registered runners must present their identification document and confirmation code to collect their BIB according to the following schedule:
- Time: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, July 24 and 25, 2026
- Location: Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, 107 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang
- BIB collection support: 0935 425 576 – Ms. Hân
The Organising Committee will not distribute BIBs outside the specified collection times. Runners are encouraged to arrange their schedules in advance and carefully check all information before race day.
