The potential of Da Nang’s wedding tourism was also highly appreciated by Ms. Lisa Viegas, Director of the Destination Wedding Planners Congress (DWP Congress). According to Ms. Lisa, the global wedding tourism market is currently worth around 90 billion USD, of which the Asia-Pacific region contributes up to 40.52%, with an impressive growth rate of up to 16.48% per year. Along with countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Maldives, and India, Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular are emerging as a potential destination in this field.
