Đà Nẵng, May 2026 – The grand celebration of 10 YEARS OF AO DAI SHOW took place on May 15, 2026 at Ariyana Beach Garden, 107 Võ Nguyên Giáp, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng, bringing together beauty icons from Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, along with many renowned artists. More than marking a decade-long milestone for VKSTAR in its journey to honor the Vietnamese áo dài, the event also opened a vibrant space for regional cultural exchange, contributing to affirming Đà Nẵng’s appeal as a promising destination for events, festivals and cultural tourism.

A Decade of Transforming the Áo Dài into a Cultural Language

Established and launched on May 15, 2016, AO DAI SHOW was created to introduce traditional Vietnamese culture to domestic and international visitors through the image of the áo dài. The show combines various forms of performance, including royal court scenes, chầu văn ritual singing, old market reenactments, traditional dance, Vietnamese wedding customs and elaborately designed and staged áo dài collections.

Over the past 10 years, AO DAI SHOW has gradually become a distinctive cultural tourism product, where the áo dài is presented not only as a traditional costume but also as a story told through theatre, music, choreography and performance art. According to the Đà Nẵng Tourism Portal, AO DAI SHOW introduces the story of Vietnamese culture from the past to the present, connecting royal, folk, traditional and modern elements while recreating the formation and evolution of the traditional áo dài culture over nearly 300 years.

International Beauty Icons Gather at Ariyana Beach Garden

A special highlight of the 10 YEARS OF AO DAI SHOW celebration was the appearance of beauty icons from Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, creating a captivating convergence of culture, imagery and media attention. The event featured Nguyễn Thị Yến Nhi – Miss Grand Vietnam 2025, Phorn Sreypii – Miss Cosmo Cambodia 2025, PORNSIRIKUL PUATHA – Miss Charm Thailand 2024, Phoem Sreyno – Miss Grand Cambodia 2023, Po Kimtheng Sothida – Miss Grand Cambodia 2021, Trần Trân Mỹ Linh – Miss Celebrity International 2025 and Trương Tâm Như – 2nd Runner-up Miss World Vietnam 2025. In addition, the stage also welcomed Ngọc Trang – Á hoàng Trang sức Việt Nam 2022, Phạm Thị Ánh Vương – 4th Runner-up Miss Grand Vietnam 2024, Bùi Thị Uyên Phương – 2nd Runner-up Hoa hậu Biển Việt Nam 2025, Nhen Soksophea – Top 10 Miss Cosmo Cambodia 2025, Thoa Thương – Người đẹp Áo dài Top 5 Hoa hậu Việt Nam, Thương Võ – The Best Catwalk Miss Grand Việt Nam, along with VKSTAR’s models and dancers.

Alongside the international beauty icons, the evening was further elevated by the participation of renowned artists such as Hà Myo, Nguyễn Phi Hùng, Phan Huy Thành, Lê Vân, Thúy Ngân, Xuân Ly, Võ Anh Duy, Chí Hiếu and Thế Ân, together with many distinguished guests. Their performances created an emotional journey connecting tradition and modernity, the graceful beauty of the áo dài, contemporary music and Đà Nẵng’s distinctive seaside event atmosphere.
